Having done ‘The Woman in Black’, I could hardly not go with ‘The Woman in White’ could I?
The Woman in White~ Wilkie Collins: He partly based his infamous novel on a real-life eighteenth century case of abduction and wrongful imprisonment – Late one night on a lonely road Walter Hartright, a young art teacher, meets a strange woman dressed all in white. They talk together and Walter is puzzled by the fact that the woman knows a member of the family he is about to start work with, but before he could ask anymore questions, she disappeared. The next day Hartright arrived at Limmeridge house working as a drawing teacher. After meeting his students, he becomes extremely confused because one of his students, Laura, looks identical to the woman in white he met the night before.
