I guess there is some truth in the old proverb
an apple a day helps keep the Doctor away
If we eat an apple or any fruit daily as part of a balanced diet, then in general you should find yourself in good health and not need to see a doctor that often. However life can throw up problems that eating apples or otherwise cannot help prevent.
I injured my knee 2 years ago, and it has since been an ongoing saga since. Lots of rehab with physios, surgery, scans, x-rays, and still I cannot bend it fully without aggravating it further. Which is a pain as it does stop me fully enjoying the activities I have enjoyed in the past. Saw the consultant last week and have been recommended for further surgery. Which sounds good, but this one in particular isn’t renown on the web for being wholly successful in a lot of cases. I really don’t want to be left in a worse state than I currently am if it fails to help, at least as I am, I can do stuff all be it amended or limited in nature., but what if it does help, nothing conservative so far seems to have. Maybe I should be doing more than I do rehab wise, but overdoing it is as bad as under doing it.
If only eating an apple every day would make things right, then I’d be down the shops buying a huge big bag.
